TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Bids are binding — real money

Every bid on Live Throne is a real commitment. If your brand isn't verified yet, we place a hold on your payment method for the full bid amount (not a charge) while you have up to 7 days to verify your brand — verify and the hold is captured, don't and it's released with no charge. If your brand is already verified, you're charged instantly, no hold. This is not play money; treat every click like cash, because it is.

2. 100% of bids go to the platform

Your entire bid is the price of the slot. There are no hidden fees on top — the amount you bid is the amount held (or charged, for verified brands). Once captured, it's a non-refundable advertising placement fee: if you're outbid, your brand keeps a lower placement instead of a refund.

3. The race never resets

The crown and the board never reset. There are no seasons: the race to determine the most expensive ad in the world runs continuously. Past winners are permanently enshrined in the Pantheon with their winning amounts and reign lengths. A dethroning makes history — it never erases it.

4. Verification is required to advertise

Watching is free and needs no account. Advertising requires a verified brand: we confirm your identity and that the business is real before your creative goes fully public. New bids appear immediately with a "verifying" badge; full public display follows verification.

5. Your creative, our wall

You keep ownership of your ad creative. By submitting it, you grant Live Throne a license to display it on the board, in the Pantheon archive, and in platform marketing (like "the crown sold for $X" recaps) for as long as the platform exists. You also confirm you have the rights to everything in it — images, logos, music — and that it complies with our Advertising Policy.

6. Refunds and forfeiture

Outbid? Bids are non-refundable placement fees. If you're outbid, your brand drops to a lower placement and keeps it — there's no refund for losing a rank. You're free to strike back with a higher bid.

Didn't verify in time? Your payment hold is released automatically — you pay nothing. You'll need to verify your brand before placing another bid.

Removed for an honest mistake? If your slot is taken down for a policy violation you didn't commit knowingly, you get a full refund.

Removed for fraud? Scams, impersonation, and deliberate violations forfeit the payment. No refunds for fraud.

7. Fraud ends accounts

Fraud, scams, impersonation, or illegal activity means permanent account termination and forfeiture of active bids. We also cooperate with law enforcement where required. The crown is worthless if the audience can't trust it.

8. We run the auction fairly

Bidding increments and timing rules apply equally to everyone, including us. Live Throne and its operators do not bid on the platform and do not hold slots.
