The minimum bid is $50. Once the board fills up, the only way in is dethroning someone: you beat their bid by a minimum increment. The increment shrinks as prices climb — like a real auction house:

• Under $1,000: 10% — a $500 slot needs at least $550 to fall
• $1,000–$10,000: 7%
• $10,000–$100,000: 5%
• Over $100,000: 3%

The increment is also moat protection: bid $50,000 and nobody can touch you for less than $52,500.

The first brand to bid $50 takes the crown. If several brands bid $50, the one who paid first keeps it. Taking the crown from someone costs the tier step above their bid — 10% more under $1,000.

Yes — bids are real money. If your brand isn't verified yet, we hold the full amount on your card (not a charge) while you have up to 7 days to verify — verify and the hold is captured, don't and it's released with no charge. If your brand is already verified, you're charged instantly, no hold. Every bid is public, with your name on it.

You get dethroned — live, in front of everyone, with all the drama that deserves. Your brand drops to a lower placement and keeps it: bids are non-refundable placement fees, so there's no refund when you lose a rank. And you're free to strike back with a higher bid. Sniping in the final minutes extends the clock, so the war always gets its ending.

No. Spectating is free forever — no account, no paywall. A free account lets you hype bids and make predictions. Advertising requires a verified brand (see below).

If your brand isn't verified yet, your bid is held (not charged) for up to 7 days while you verify. Already-verified brands are charged instantly — the hold only applies until you've proven who you are. Either way, pick whichever verification method your team can do fastest:

• Social media — link your brand's official account (easiest for marketing teams)
• DNS TXT record — add a verification token to your domain (easiest for IT teams)
• HTML embed — add a meta tag to your homepage (IT fallback)

DNS and HTML verify instantly. Social media links are reviewed within 48 hours.

An unverified brand has a real payment hold on their card — the bid is genuine. But they haven't proven their brand identity yet. That's why you see an asterisked name (like "N***") instead of the full brand, and the card isn't clickable.

They have up to 6 days to verify. If they don't, the hold is automatically released and their placeholder disappears.

No — there are no seasons and no resets. The race runs continuously: the crown is always up for auction, and the deadline that makes people bid is the 6-day verification window, not a season end. Nothing is erased: every past #1 is permanently enshrined in the Pantheon with their winning amount and reign length.
